The Kaiser Wiesn March

The anthem of Austria's largest customs and Oktoberfest

The „Kaiser Wiesn Marsch“ was created in 2023 by Andreas Hinker and Johann Pittermann. The original version comes from the „Lausern“, but has since been interpreted and performed by many other ensembles, such as marching or dance music ensembles.

This march is intended to serve as the official anthem of the largest traditional and Oktoberfest in Vienna, the „Wiener Kaiser Wiesn“, where thousands of musicians from all over Austria are in action during the 18 days of the festival. The idea behind the march is that every musician and every ensemble interprets this march in their own way, making it a unique experience for everyone involved.

During the day, the anthem is played at any time of day and creates a festive atmosphere throughout the festival grounds. Especially in the evening, when the parties in the tents begin, the Kaiser Wiesn March is the opening melody after the break - a moment when everyone celebrates together and the atmosphere is at its peak. Because everyone loves to party at the Kaiser Wiesn in Vienna!
